Maybelline Falsies..

How many reviews have you seen of this mascara? Well here's another.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and at first I wasn't keen but I like my mascara's to get a bit thicker before I make a judgement on them.

Without mascara my lashes are really fair on the ends and aren't very visable, they're quite thick but not very long, so mascara is one of the things that I will definately not leave the house without. I'm always trying new mascara's because whats the point in sticking to just one when there's lots out there?

The mascara has a curved wand and you use the inward curve against your lashes. Its quite a thick mascara and is very black, I've never used another Maybelline mascara so I can't compare it to the others.

This is my lashes with 2 coats

So you can see how long it makes my lashes and does definately thicken them. I love this mascara, I can't promise I will buy it again because its rare I do that but if I don't find one that tops this then I definately will!

In Sync

Last week I bought In Sync lip liner from the Too Fabulous collection at MAC. It came today and it looks so pretty with the free Jemma Kidd gloss that came with the Bodyform packs.

And on me

Cringey smile! I really like it, it makes a lovely pink lip!

For Sale: Label M Ressurection Style Dust

This is the 3g jar I have used it 3 times, it looks like more because when you shake the bottle the powder fills it so they don't fill it up its more or less the same amount as when I bought it last week.

£8 including P&P (Retails for £10)

Birthday Make Up

Last night I went out to celebrate my birthday with my husband, parents and my husband's brother and his wife! We went to an Indian Restaurant and had a lovely night!

Here is my make up from last night

The products I used were

Estee Lauder Face Primer Plus

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation

Rimmel Bronzer

MAC Ripe Peach blush

Barry M mettallic liquid liner with Urban Decay 24/7 Zero over the top of that, winged out.

Midnight Cowboy Rides Again eyeshadow all over

Estee Lauder mascara

Ardell Demi Wispies false lashes

MAC Vicorian Lipstick.

I wore this tunic which I got from Dorothy Perkins

I posted on Twitter yesterday and asked what make up I should wear with it, I knew it needed to be neautral which is what the girls said but I seem to have it in my head that a night out means I need a smokey eye. I just did thick winged eyeliner and I thought it looked really nice and it was a nice change so thank you those on Twitter for telling me!

I bought the Estee Lauder stuff yesterday and so far I love it and Debenhams were doing a free gift when you purchased 2 products so I got quite a good gift it had their skin care in with a lovely coral lipstick, an eyeshadow duo and a mini mascara. I felt quite old buying from them but I'm glad I did it!

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend xx

Small birthday haul!

It was my birthday yesterday and my nana wanted to take me out for lunch at the Trafford Centre and I was very lucky that I got some money to spend in my cards!

I'm not usually one for buying new MAC collections but I knew I wanted Victorian lipstick from the Spring Colour Forecast collection and a couple of weeks ago XSparkage was showing the blush ombre's on youtube and the peach one looked lovely. So off we went to MAC, we got there and they were still putting all the new collections out. At first I just bought the lipstick and went, but later on the lure of Ripe Peach was too much for me to resist so I went back and bought it.

And I finally got a full size Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero. This is my absolute favourite liner but my mini one from BOSII is tiny now and my AiW BOS still hasn't arrived :( And I bought the Maybelline Falsies mascara which I really like.

l-r Light end of Ripe Peach, pinker side, the two blended together, Victorian.

I love Victorian I think it is possibly my perfect lipstick its just the right shade! And Ripe Peach is so gorgeous! I have been looking for a peach blusher for a while and I think this fits the bill. Its a lot bigger than the regular MAC blushes and is the same size as an MSF, and it cost £19.50.

This is my FOTD today, just really simple. I used my Zero pencil to do winged liner, Falsies on my lashes, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection foundation (love this!!) Ripe Peach blush and Victorian on my lips over some lip balm so its very toned down! I got a sample of the Smashbox primer yesterday and it has made a big difference to my foundation I really like it. However I can't justify the price so I am going shopping again tommorow and I'm going to get the Urban Decay primer.

I have a job interview tommorow morning, wish me luck!

Cheaper Alternatives?

So I am wondering if anybody can give me some cheaper alternatives for more expensive things.

I need an extra 217 but I don't want to pay so much once again, so are there any cheaper brushes that do the same job? Apart from the Ruby & Millie one which I don't like.

And MAC Mineralize Skin Finish natural? I can't bring myself to spend £18/19 on another one so if you have any reccomendations for that I would really appreciate it if you told me.

If you have any others, feel free to tell me!
