Colin - My husband, we've been together for over 7 years now and married for 1 year. I love him, he's my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without him.


Alice - Whats not to love about her? She's a little monkey at times but when she's good it makes it all worth while.


Winter - I LOVE winter!! Summer annoys me a bit, I like the sunshine and being out in it during the day but I hate how hot and sticky it is at night. If I had proper air-conditioning I would be happy. But winter is lovely, its cosy and nice to get wrapped up and go for a walk on a lovely sunny,cold winters day.

My laptop - How would I be able to blog and keep up with all the other blogs and YouTube videos?

Glee - This is a new addition. I really love Glee, and Col loves it so he wouldn't be very happy to find out I have just watched all the episodes from the US without him! I'll have to keep that one secret.

Family - I am very close to my family, and I see them every week I would hate to live far away from them (even though I really,really want to move abroad)

Wine - I'm not an Alchy I promise but I do love a glass of wine (or 3) I enjoy chilling out when Alice has gone to bed at the weekend and cooking dinner for us both, watching a film and having a glass.

Sunday Roasts - Yum!! I want one now. Dieting is hard and I'm not very good at it :(


New Make up - I think most of us can relate to this, I love having a shiny new package of something pretty!

Girlie chats - As I said on my tag post yesterday, I don't see my friends much but I love it when we're emailing and chatting about girlie stuff and remembering stuff we did way back when.

10. Your hobby? Blogging, make up, reading.

11. Your fear? That I'll never have another baby.

12. Where do you want to be in 6 years? I would love to have another child and hopefully be back at work, and maybe able to have a bigger house!

13. Where were you last night? At home watching TV with Colin.

14. Something you aren't? Optimistic

16. Wish list item? There's nothing materialistic I really want, most of the time I buy what I want.

22. Your friends? It makes me really sad that my real life friends aren't very close anymore. I can't even remember the last time I saw them. Probably at my wedding reception in October 08, we do keep in touch a lot. I have a lot of online friends, which probably sounds a bit sad but I have had a lot of support from them in the past year.

23. Your life? It makes me happy, there are a couple of things that would make it better but if this is how it is going to stay forever I won't complain.

24. Your mood? A bit emtional, I don't know why.

26. Vehicle? I don't drive but Col does and we have a Focus C-Max.

Urban Decay Foreshadow palette for sale!

This was a limited edition palette and I have hardly used it, I have just used Midnight Cowboy a few times and swatched the others. As you can see in the picture the darker shadow has stained the box around the shadows but hasn't affected the actual shadows themselves. It has Oil slick (which is in the Alice in Wonderland Book of shadows), Stray Dog, Midnight cowboy (another one from Alice) and flipside.

NOTD: Sleek Storm

I bought this nail polish yesterday. I was looking for a grey but not like Barry M's grey, I wanted it to have some shimmer or for it to be mettallic.





I'm really impressed with it. I like the colour, it went on easy and only needed 2 coats and it dried so quick. I mostly use Barry M polishes and I find they are really soft and when they feel dry they can still get ruined. This didn't happen with this. And it was only £2!!

NYX Haul

I ordered some NYX things from Ebay and they came today, I put the order in on Sunday 17th and they came today which isn't too bad.

I got 2 blushes and 6 lipsticks

The 2 blushes are Silky Rose and Natural. I got lipsticks in Watermelon, Margharita, Indian pink, Iced Honey, Ceto and Jupiter.

Silky Rose blush is so pigmented I put it on when it got here (how handy that I was about to put my blush on as the postman knocked on the door!) and I put a bit too much on. Its a lovely colour though. The lipsticks aren't anything like the swatches on Ebay and 2 of them are almost identical.

No I haven't swatched the same lipstick twice, they are different ones but exactly the same. Kind of disapointed about that.

And without Flash.

The blushes are lovely though and I'm really glad I bought them. The lipsticks are nice and moisterising, I will probably wear them I just wish they were more true to the swatches I bought from.

My sister ordered 2 runway palette's, 3 jumbo eye crayons and 6 lipsticks also with me and the total order including shipping came to around £42. The lipsticks were 6 for £10 including shipping which isn't too bad.

Calling all Nail Experts!!

I realise I probably should have taken a picture of my nails before I did this post but I have only just painted them and I don't have time to take it off and put it back on again!

I've only been wearing nail varnish on my fingers for about 6 months, in the past I would wear it if I was going out or I used to just have the manicure pink on them for something different to bare! But I do my nails every 4 days or so now. But my nails are suffering, they're really dry. The tips are split and there's what looks like scratches on the nail, so how do I fix this? Do I need to buy some expensive solution or is there something I can do thats cheap?

EOTD

This is actually last saturday's EOTD, but I'm very lazy!! Its only the eye as the rest of my make up would not photograph very well, the light was awful (it was raining I think). It doesn't even show the eyeshadow very well but I thought I'd share it anyway.








I used my Book of Shadows Vol II...again! I know I probably sound like a broken record.

The colours were Ecstasy, AC/DC and Gunmetal. I'm always wary of using purple because I have blue eyes but I did really like this. I did feel very bright though!!

An update on Project 10 Pan - I finished the Prep + Prime. I think I will definately repurchase as I really like it. Or maybe I will try the Urban Decay primer next. And I have created my own rules for this P10P, everytime one product runs out I can buy a new one! So yesterday I ordered the Illamasqua Rich Liquid foundation which I'm very excited about. It has been shipped so hopefully it will be here soon. I also did an NYX order last week which should be here soon so there will be a couple of hauls coming up!
